Peda Beureum | Unforgetable Fish With Special Taste

Most of Ciamis people like this kind of fish as known as 'peda beureum' traditionally. It is very popular and has placed it's special taste into every Ciamis people's thought. Cooked rice with sambal (chilli sauce) and this fish are luxurious enough as a menu, especially if we enjoy these foods at a small hut beside the rice field.

Padahal, singkong merupakan makanan pokok ketiga di Indonesia setelah beras dan jagung. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) yang dikutip detikFinance Minggu (7/8/2011), Indonesia mengimpor ubi kayu dengan total 4,73 ton dengan nilai US$ 21,9 ribu dari Januari hingga Juni 2011. Negara Italia merupakan negara dengan nilai terbesar yaitu US$ 20,64 ribu dengan berat 1,78 ton.
